Conservation
The gel can be kept for a minimum of one week in the refrigerator, in a jar (or longer if the smell does not change).
It can also be frozen and if you have used fresh okra the leftovers can be kept in the freezer to be reused a second time.
Use
You can use the gel as a leave-in or rinse-out conditioner. It allows you to smooth down your hair once dry and redefine natural curls by detangling with your fingers or a wide-tooth comb. This gel is an excellent moisturizer, so it softens hard, dry, and brittle hair.
You can also apply a vegetable butter or a moisturizing hair cream from your hair care routine.
